Washington City Museum
The Washington City Museum is in the town's old two-story sandstone schoolhouse, which the city dates to 1877, and volunteers from the Washington City Historical Society staff it. Its displays and antiques cover the town's 1857 settlement for the Cotton Mission and the Cotton Factory. A monument plaza outside has statues and plaques of early settlers.
