Silver Reef Museum
The museum sits inside the restored Wells Fargo and Company express office and the Wooley, Lund and Judd mercantile next door, two stone buildings left from Silver Reef's 1870s and 1880s mining boom. Inside are artifacts, photographs and papers from the town's silver years, plus displays on the odd geology that put silver in sandstone. Stone ruins of old homes and businesses sit on the grounds around it, so the walk outside is part of the visit.
