About Utah Museums
Utah Museums is a guide to every museum in the state we could find and confirm is open. It is made by the Bench Press Network, the people behind three free weekly email newsletters for Utah neighborhoods: The Bench Press (Sugar House, Millcreek and Holladay), The Happy Camper (Lehi to Pleasant Grove) and The Group Project (Provo and Orem).
How listings are checked
Every museum on the list was looked up on its own website in October 2026. The 192 with a page of their own here passed a second check, line by line, against those same pages. The rest are listed by name, town and kind, with a link to their own site and a note to check before you go, because we could not confirm every detail.
Places that have closed, or that we could not confirm are open, are left off. We do not print prices or hours, because both change and the museum's own site is the place that keeps them current. Every page links to it.
