Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum
A 90-foot Diplodocus skeleton greets visitors in the rotunda of this state park museum in Vernal. The Jurassic Gallery shows a Stegosaurus and an Allosaurus over a Haplocanthosaurus, and the Eocene Gallery has a wall of leaf fossils and a diorama of life on the shores of Lake Uinta. In the Fossil Lab you can pick up a bone and chisel, and a rock wall lets visitors try to spot fossils among the pebbles.
