Topaz Museum
Tells the story of Topaz, the World War II camp 16 miles northwest of Delta where Japanese Americans were held from September 1942 to October 1945. The exhibit starts with the racist laws aimed at early Japanese immigrants and follows the mass incarceration and its aftermath, using hundreds of artifacts, photographs and oral histories plus about 150 original artworks.
