The Gale Museum
South Jordan's city museum opened in June 2006 in the building that used to be the South Jordan branch library, and many exhibits are built for small kids. They can practice on slates in an 1892 schoolhouse, gather eggs and hang laundry at the Beckstead farmhouse, and check what a Model T fill-up cost at a vintage service station. Older visitors get the Bingham Canyon copper mining story and From Gale to South Jordan, which covers the city's first 100 years; admission is free.
