Church History Museum
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints runs this free museum on West Temple, telling the faith's history through art and artifacts. The main floor exhibit, The Heavens Are Opened, covers early Church history with film, documents and artifacts, and the second floor holds a children's exhibit and temporary exhibits. Every three years the museum hosts and exhibits a theme-based art competition for Latter-day Saint artists from around the world.
