Gilgal Sculpture Garden
Thomas Battersby Child Jr. made this garden in the mid twentieth century, tucked in the middle of a Salt Lake City block behind houses and businesses, and it is now a city park. It holds 12 of his original sculptures, including the Sphinx and Elijah's Cave, plus more than 70 stones engraved with scripture, poems and literary texts. Admission is free, and walking tour brochures are on site.
