Flaming Gorge Heritage Museum
Daggett County's volunteer-run museum, also called the Daggett County Centennial Museum, sits in the old Clay Basin School, built in 1940, bought by the county in 1997, moved to Manila in 1998 and opened as a museum in June 2009. Next to it is the School Marms Cabin, a 1925 schoolhouse moved from the Behunin Ranch at Burnt Fork in fall 2011. The museum also sells local history books, and past summers have brought a quilt display, a pioneer music night and a Forest Service archaeologist's talk on the area's petroglyphs.
